Litigation Support

DFS offers litigation support under circumstances involving civil cases evolving from Fraud and other Internal Investigations, Trade Secret and Proprietary Information concerns, Competitive Intelligence/Intellectual Property, Patent and Trademarks, Malpractice, Sexual Harassment and Discrimination, Employee Misconduct, Network Intrusion and Divorce. Others may be available in a case by case situation.

Each digital forensic investigation produces a sound and logical foundation, balancing investigative requirements with vital evidentiary and legal needs through:

  • Expert Witness Testimony.†
  • Thorough and experienced Forensic Analyses, providing electronic evidence and recreated vital events, including potential recovery of lost, deleted and hidden data through advanced recovery methodologies.
  • Jury and lay-person comprehendible reports and presentations of all Forensic Analysis where required.
  • Assistance with preparation of discovery requests, legal documentation, and cases for legal referral.‡
  • Collection and preservation of evidence, maintaining chain of custody and evidence integrity.
  • Imaging of electronic devices used by executives, management and other personnel to preserve the integrity of potential evidence, posibily eliminating wrongful release claims or wrongful suits.

‡Regarding digital forensics, their practices and methodologies in general or in regards to a case performed by DFS. DFS will not testify to the specific findings of a case conducted by another forensic company without conducting an unbiased analysis using the same raw evidence or image(s) where available. DFS will testify to methodologies and best-practices regarding forensics as a whole when not performing a forensic analysis.
